Roles Overview

Now that your office is set up, it’s time for the best part — bringing your team on board! 🚀

If you haven’t finished setting up your office yet, check out our step-by-step guide to get your team started with SoWork.

In SoWork, there are a few ways to invite people. But before we get into that, let’s take a quick look at the three user roles:

How to invite new Members

Send them an Email or Link

  1. Click the invite icon at the top of the left panel.
  2. To invite someone:
    1. Click the invite icon at the top of the left panel.
    2. Choose between:

Assign Them a Desk

  1. Click on any desk with a “Ready to Assign” pin.
  2. Enter the name and email of the person you want to invite.
  3. Click Send Invite – they’ll get an email and their desk will be ready when they join!

How to Remove Members

  1. Open the Settings Menu located at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar.
  2. Go to Settings > Member Roles
  3. Find the member you want to remove and click the more option button.
  4. Select Remove.
  5. Confirm.
  6. They’ll instantly be removed from the office.

Only Admins can remove Members from the office.

How to change Member Roles

  1. Open the Settings Menu located at the bottom of the left sidebar.
  2. Go to Settings > Member Roles
  3. Find the member you want to remove and click the more option button.
  4. Select Change Roles.
  5. Confirm.
  6. They’ll instantly be removed from the office.
