SoWork lets you host formal meetings, just like Zoom or Google Meet, and have casual, quick-chats with teammates around you!
How do you connect with people in SoWork?
SoWork let you switch between two types of video calls modes to help create the best office experience:
Meetings

Traditional Zoom-like video calls, ideal for focused private meetings and formal conversations.
- Start a new Meeting from scratch or just convert a Quick Chat into a Meeting.
- Set a meeting topic.
- Invite teammates or externals.
- Keeping the conversation private.
Quick Chats

Informal and spontaneous, perfect for coworking or open convos others can easily jump into.
- Instantly connect just by being near someone.
- Talk as long as you're close together.
- Share your screen or use the whiteboard.
How to Share Your Screen in SoWork
- Join a meeting (Quick Chat or Meeting).
- Look for the screen icon in your bottom toolbar.
- Click it and choose what you’d like to share:
- Entire screen
- Window
- Specific browser tab

Audio & Video Controls
- Turn your mic & camera on/off at any time with the Mic and Camera buttons of the meeting toolbar.
- Use the toggles to change devices.

How to Start a Meeting
- Click the ➕ Meeting button in the center/bottom toolbar
- You’ll see two options:
- Start a new focused meeting (if you’re solo, then you can invite participants)
- Convert current group into a focused meeting (if you’re already connected to others)
